Four Day Horseback Riding/Whitewater Rafting Trips
We have teamed up with our neighbors, Flying Eagle Outfitters, to create an unforgettable vacation. This unique
family vacation adventure combines an overnight stay in Montana's backcountry with two and a half days of whitewater excitement!
The trip begins with a day of horseback riding. You will ride through the heart of the Flathead National Forest and enjoy stunning views of Glacier National Park. At the end of the day the wranglers will escort you to an established base camp complete with tents and a cook!
Day Two begins with a big hearty cowboy breakfast and a leisurely ride back to our headquarters. Around noon we bid our horses and wranglers goodbye and set off for the Middle Fork of the Flathead River!
Each mile of this rafting trip is special with alternating stretches of white
water and superb scenery. We pass magnificent waterfalls, float through cliff-walled canyons, and run lots of
river rapids. These adventure trips include the big waves of Browns Hole Rapid (Class III-IV) one of the best rapids on the Middle Fork!
We camp at private spots beneath shady Cottonwood trees. Wild River Adventures has all the equipment to make camping out on the river a comfortable experience. Our
Montana guides will prepare hot delicious dinners while you relax beside the fire.
The final day offers more spectacular scenery and the biggest river rapids of the trip. This is thrilling whitewater that the whole family will enjoy! It's the perfect end to an unforgettable experience!
Overnighters are run expedition-style with all our gear carried on board the rafts. We are completely self-sufficient and free to travel at our own pace.
Our trips are all inclusive. Sleeping bags, tents, wetsuits, meals, on the river, and shuttles are included in the price.
No river or horseback experience is needed for this great adventure.
