What is the difference between a half-day and a full-day rafting trip?

A half-day trip is a 9-mile float that typically lasts 2-4 hours where you get to experience the main whitewater section of the Middle Fork, whereas the full-day trip is a 16-mile float lasting 6-8 hours with beautiful scenic water and breathtaking views of glacier National Park accompanied with a deli-style lunch on the riverside before experiencing the main whitewater section. Both are incredible experiences!

For those looking for an evening experience, join us for a float and a meal on our Evening Dinner Float.

Recommended clothing will vary on the time of year and weather conditions. In May and June wear non-cotton layers underneath your wetsuit and a heavy fleece jacket to go over. We provide wetsuits, splash tops, fleece, and neoprene booties. July and August a normal swimsuit or quick-drying pants and shirts are great. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended. All footwear needs to have some type of heel strap. No flip-flops or crocs!

Our normal rafts are 16’ and can seat 8-10 paddlers. The wild side rafts which are smaller can seat 4-6 paddlers and the inflatable kayaks can seat 1-2 paddlers. Our guides ensure that everyone has plenty of space to enjoy the experience.

Yes! We offer family-friendly trips that are great for children as young as 6, though age restrictions apply for certain types of trips. Please check the trip details for specific guidelines.
